Office Job

For the GJL Game Parade Game Jam, here is our take on the theme, "Carpe Diem. Seize the Day". Ever had plans after work that you have been excited to do for weeks? Ever then had you colleages suddenly give you a load of work that they "absolutley need" you to do? Time to get revenge! Play as an office worker who wants to get to his evening plans, while the rest of the office try to stop him from leaving. Time to take action and escape! Fight through the enemies and take control of the situation. Time to Seize the Day! 

Use your weapon, the mighty pen, to slash at your enemies or spray them with ink. When you get a chance make sure to upgrade you arsenal at the vending machines. At the end, fight your boss for the right to escape from the building and enjoy your night! This was completed with a team of the, including myself with another designer and a programmer.

Controls:

Move with the WASD keys to speed around the level.

Press F to interact with our vending machines when you get a chance!

Left Click to swing your pen and attack! Right Click to unleash a spray of ink at your enemies to defeat them.

Shift can get you out of danger with a Dodge!

Upgrades:

Want to get stronger? The vending machines are here to help with their goods, and are even colour coded! Remeber though, you need money to buy anything.

Green - Time to regain health with this refershing beverage!
Blue - Need more space in your pen for ink? Why not come here and buy it!
Orange - Want to Dodge more? Here, have a biit more energy.
Purple - Want to swing faster? Hit harder? this is the vending machine for you!
